Gazprom CEO: Russian state banks eye Amur refinery financing
BLAGOVESHCHENSK, Sep 1 (PRIME) -- State banks may invest in construction of a 790.6 billion ruble Amur gas refinery in Russia’s Far East, Alexei Miller, CEO of Gazprom, the facility’s future owner, told reporters Tuesday.
“We will proceed with the absolutely concrete issues of project financing participants in 2016. There is interest to this project first from equipment suppliers for this plant. State banks also express interest. This is a reliable financial investment,” Miller said.
The projected capacity of 38 billion cubic meters is one of the world records. The construction is to be finished in 2025.
